What happens after I enroll?
After you enroll you will receive a confirmation e-mail from our administrative department which based on your location contains:

Please allow 48 hours not including weekdays for your insurance agent to process your documents. Once complete your insurance agent will send your insurance documents to you directly. If you do not receive anything within 48 hours, please first check your e-mail's Spam/Junk folder and also note German federal holidays. If none of these apply contact us or your agent directly with the provided information.
What do I need to do after my enrollment is processed?

What do I do if I'm an enrollee and having an issue with my landlord, accidentally broke something in the home I am renting or have other concerns regarding my rental contract?
Please fill out the concerns and disputes form with the applicable information. Within 24 hours (not including weekends and holidays) either one of our agents or an agent in the department that corresponds with your concern will contact you. If you know for instance your concern is in regards to insurance you may contact said agent assigned to you directly if you prefer.

We vetted local insurance companies that offer low competitive rates, have a long-standing positive reputation, and english speaking in-office agents to help accomodate our enrollees. In our program Tenant Legal Insurance (Mietrechtschutzversicherung) must be purchased in combination of Tenant Liability Insurance (Hausrechtschutzversicherung). Additionally, you must have had Legal insurance at least 90 days before you can use this to cover legal expenses, so better to acquire this sooner than later. Fortunately these insurances come at a fairly low monthly rate depending on the size of your household with the highest expected monthly rate of around $25. Additionally, if for any reason you change your mind you have 14 days to cancel your insurance policy or request an alternative agency.
